- 121 support, advice and advocacy

Mustard Tree is like my home
Queen, alongside her husband and four children, was an asylum seeker, but not receiving any support from the Home Office in terms of finances or accommodation.
When she arrived in the UK in 2010 she had employment and her husband was a student, but in 2018 started the arduous asylum claim process. As she was already renting a private property and had been receiving wages, she was not eligible to be supported by the Home Office.
